How we pay the bills.
FxLeakage is free. Calculators, the tracker, the PDF export — all of it. That has to be paid for somehow, so here's exactly how we do it.
The short version
Some links on this site — typically the "Open free account" buttons on a winning platform card — are affiliate links. If you click one and end up signing up, we may earn a referral fee at no extra cost to you.
Why this matters
Most "vs" comparison sites are paid to recommend whoever's cheque cleared last. We took a different bet: the calculator math is the product, not the recommendation. The winner is whichever platform leaks the least money on your invoice, not whichever pays us the highest commission.
That means our affiliate ranking and our calculator ranking will sometimes disagree. When they do, the calculator wins. We'd rather lose the referral than recommend the wrong tool.
What this changes for you
- Nothing in price. You pay the same whether you sign up via our link or directly.
- Nothing in ranking. Platform comparisons use published fee schedules — not commission tiers.
- Marked links. Every affiliate link uses
rel="sponsored nofollow"so search engines (and you) know it's a referral.
Who we partner with
We participate or plan to participate in the referral programmes of payment platforms listed on this site, including Wise, Payoneer, Revolut, Deel, Airwallex, Mercury, WorldFirst, Stripe and PayPal. Not all platforms offer programmes; we list and rank them anyway.
The promise
If we ever publish a "best of" piece that isn't backed by our own calculator math, it'll say "sponsored" at the top in plain English. No quiz-funnel nonsense, no fake "expert picks".
